Jack Watford, Masters Fight in Tassie

Action Jack, known as the demon on the speed ball at the gym, Flew down to Launceston, Tasmania, to fight a hometown favourite & Boxing trainer Brett Taylor.

Being over 28yrs since stepping into the ring for a competition match, the 1^st round was a bit nerving and Jack slowly finding his feet, pace and range went down 4-0.

Realising the slow start, Jack quickly picked up the pace and looked more comfortable coming into the 2^nd round as he boxed as though it hasn’t been a day since his last bout.

He brought the heat on and the 3^rd round was nothing but a one way street as Brett was served nothing but Knuckle Sandwiches for 2mins straight.

 Jack narrowly lost on a 1 point decision (5-4) to the tazzy local, but should be proud of his incredible come back from a 4 nil lead coming out of the 1^st.
