How were the nerves before the comeback?
It felt great to get back in the ring after a long layoff and have a good win. I was a bit stiff to begin with but felt more relaxed as the fight went on.
In your own eyes, can you give us an insight to how you thought you performed?
The first round was pretty even but I caught him with a few good shots in the second and dropped him twice before the ref stopped the fight. The punches that I hurt him with were punches that I’ve been working on with Gareth in the gym so it’s encouraging that I’m putting these things into practice. Gareth will be happy that I’m beginning to finally listen.
You seem to have a good support base wherever you fight whether it be Brisbane, Melbourne or Ireland.
The support was unbelievable and extra special to have my brother and his girlfriend over from Perth. Thanks to Pj, Clarky and Hoops for helping Gareth in the corner and my sponsors Ace Sports Medicine and Kenny Constructions for their continued support.

I’ll have a few days off then it’s back to hard training to prepare for a busy end to the year. We’ll be announcing a big fight soon!
