18 year Old Jack Bowen had his return bout in ring last Saturday night at a tremendous show, hosted by Beaudesert boxing Club.
Jack was matched against a very well credentialed fighter who has represented Australia many times, yet Jack stood up and performed.

Jack was confident in himself before the fight but this confidence grew as the fight went along. Congratulations to both boys for putting on the fight of the night.
Matillda Shaw also stepped up in Experience against a girl who has beaten her before. Tilly was using her footwork well and was slipping past her opponents oncoming attacks, all the while scoring with good Jabs and quick counter attacks.

12 year Old Skye Olive had her first match after being scouted as 1 for the future when she attended a recent Boxing Australia camp in Melbourne. Skye tried to use her skills to box,but the other girl was a little too strong for Skye and the decision went to her opponent in a great little battle that both girls can be proud of.

Esala Roqica entered his second match at the 81 kg division and lost a close split decision to hi opponent.

Esala Boxed with skills and was in control but obviously didnt do enough work in the final round after putting his opponent to the canvas with a clean righthand to the solar plexus in the second.
A good meet for our team and a good show run by Justin from Beaudesert.
this Friday night takes our Amateur team to the Hamilton Hotel where Jack Bowen and Garret Mole will represent our Club.
