Friday Night Fights – The Wrap up (and the Brownies)

Friday Night Fights – The Wrap up (and the Brownies)

Even matched fights, fighters who fight with passion not for the unchallenged record, Fighters not scared to step up to the plate and Fighters that Fight.

Im sure this first sentence can wrap up all the Boxers on June 27 “Friday night Fights”.
Fight of the night was between Hayley Finlayson and Chloe Ireland and what a fight it was. Both girls gave it their all and the crowd were cheering the house down in support of the exciting match.

We had novice boxers, experienced boxers, world champions, Juniors, Females and Males all boxing on the card and amazing support from our sponsors and the local community made “Friday Night Fights ” a special Occasion.

We had traveling Boxers from ACT and Victoria who came to test themselves against our Qld Boxers as well as clubs from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and 4 Brisbane teams. With a crowd of 250 people and 300 online viewers the night was a hit and with the boxing community pulling together to make the night happen, we showed how our club quote “Teamwork makes the Dreamwork” is so True.

A special thankyou to all who volunteered and supported the night.

I have heard from everyone who managed to get their hands on a “Brownie” that they were the BEST so a big thanks to V’s Mum for making these (I think next time we need a stall for Brownies only).
