The cousin of Irelands leading boxer and former European Champion and World title challenger Paul McCloskey,Liam definitely has boxing in his Blood and is determined to make his fans and family proud on Friday night, ” I just cant wait to get in there and win my first title in front of all my supporters and friends….its going to be unreal” said Hutchinson.
Coach Gareth Williams (Head Coach at The Boxing Shop) is aware that the fight is a tough one but is sure the right time has come for Liam to step up and fight for the Queensland title over 8 rounds, “Liam has been scheduled to box 6 rounds before but ended up stopping his opponent in the first round so I guess hes untested at the 8 round distance,but with many different sparring partners at the gym we have definitely put the work in to make sure hes more than ready to go to war for 8 rounds if he has to”.
