Former European champion Kerry Hope will call Brisbane home, when he emigrates to Australia later this year.
Hope has been in contact for the past two months with Brisbane trainer Gareth Williams and they are looking at fighting in Brisbane sometime in 2014.
“Kerry will be a great asset to Australian Boxing in the middleweight division as he aims to regain his world ranking and push forward onto bigger fights” said Williams .
Hope was a massive underdog when he won the European Title against Polish Boxer and Top ten world ranked (in all organistaions) Grkegorg Proksa.
