Queensland boxing coach Shara Romer is about to lead Queensland into another battle, along with coaches Allan Nicolson and Wayne Tolton.
The Queensland team that has been invited to Port Moresby is a youthfull but very experienced side.
Brent Rice, Sky Nicolson and Billy Limov are looking at stamping their mark again on International boxing after their recent losses at the Commonwealth games trials in Perth.
“It’s a great young team we are taking to New Guinea ” said Romer “Unfortunately 2 boys from my club had to be ruled out due to injury and work commitment s but it’s great to be passing knowledge over to this team of the future”.
The competition will be run over the coming weekend.
