Beginner Boxing – Non contact
Learn the mastery of Boxing Basics at The Boxing Shop in Brisbane.All beginner group training sessions are structured to teach participants correct skills right from the start. You will learn how to deliver basic punches such as the Jab, Power hand,Hooks and uppercuts with precision.You will also learn how to defend yourself from these punches as well as putting them all together in effective combinations whilst moving around a boxing ring and gain real boxing insider knowledge.
Our Beginner classes are popular with both male and female participants as our sessions are designed to give you plenty of practical support, advice and activities to help you gain skills in attack,defence,shadow boxing,boxing bag work, pad work and partner work. The beginner sessions are perfect for those who want to learn, increase fitness,confidence and endurance.
Beginner sessions contain no contact sparring yet some very light contact is necessary in order for you to experience certain activities and skills,however the emphasis is working with each other and not against each other in order to improve.A activities are under the guidance and instruction of our Trainers,all of whom are Boxing Australia accredited professionals.
