How did you get involved in boxing?

I got into boxing after finishing eight years in a Japanese martial art called Aikido after my gym closed in Brisbane and I completed all of my belts. I talked to my dad at the time on what else interested me and boxing was always something in mind. Initially it was a great way to keep active and healthy and learn self defence skills. However what I didn’t realise was that boxing was about to change my life completely.

How has boxing helped you?

Boxing has taught me valuable life skills such as discipline, perseverance and goal setting which has helped me in many areas of my life one of them being becoming a Boxing Trainer and Amateur Fighter. Both of these things I have worked to upgrade my skills and knowledge.

How would you like our clients to see you?

I would like my clients to see me as driven and committed to giving them the absolute best outcomes. I am also very kind and passionate and I love helping people inside and out the gym environment.

Hobbies outside of boxing?

Since becoming a coach my hobbies still consist of boxing training as I still partake in amateur training and fighting. So a lot of my time I like to spend growing and learning. However on the weekends I do enjoy some down time going for a swim or going camping for the evening which is a great way to refresh for the week.
