Irish Paddy Murphy

Irish Paddy Murphy was back to his Homeland in Ireland to Top the bill of a brilliant night of boxing hosted by Chu Chulian promotions in Dundalk.

The Atmosphere was second to none and with some amazing talent on host including Phillip Sutcliffe jnr,Eamon OKane,Anthony Fitzgerald and Hughie Fury, the crowd were all warmed up for the Main event, the Celtic Warrior title.
Peter McDonagh had been talking it up for 3 weeks before the fight saying that Paddy wasnt in his class and even at the weigh in said “Paddy who”when he was called to the scales.

We did have a game plan for the fight and unfortunately paddy got caught up in the moment and went for the kill in round 1.McDonagh later said he has never been hit as hard in any of his 44 Professional fights.
It was amazing to come out to the Chants from 1300 people singing “Theres only 1 Paddy Murphy“and I can understand how the Occassion got to Paddy. In saying that though Paddy out worked and Outfought McDonagh and Punched harder but came up with a result of 77-77 and no one in the place could understand how the fight could have been a draw.
Paddy was dissapointed in his performance because he didnt stick to the game plan but his fighting pride and heart of a Lion proved to me that he is a star on the rise.

Since the showing we have agreed to fight on a huge fight card on September 28 in Manchester,England in Front of 22,000 people when David Haye fights Tyson Fury in a Historic Heavyweight fight for Britain and also the world.
Im a very Proud coach and I know with the Support he gets from his Sponsors at Kenny Constructions he will become a Star in the not too distant future.
Its pretty good when you can fill venues on both sides of the world.
